This 'Family History - Internet Research' course in Maidstone will explore ways to use the Internet in order to find out about your family history. This course will introduce you to the main areas of research, such as civil records and censuses (parish registers, if time allows). Guidance will be given on how to develop Internet search skills relevant to family history. Anyone with an interest in finding out more about their British roots and placing their ancestors into an historical context.
