If you have ever wanted to write a 'Mills and Boon' or thought you could write better stories than appear in magazines or short stories why not develop your creative writing skills in romantic short stories, poetry and autobiography? You can gain feedback in regular workshop sessions. By the end of this course students will be able to complete weekly writing exercises and use these exercises to develop personal writing projects. They will be able to contribute to class discussion and give and receive constructive comment on their own and other students' work. The four learning outcomes for this course are: 1) Develop a regular writing habit by completing weekly writing exercises.2)Contribute to class discussions and give and receive constructive comment.3) Create characters and use different points of view.4) Develop proof-reading, editive and drafting skills Anyone who is interested in and enjoys writing.
