Our short business courses provide those currently in business or wishing to start their own business with the information, confidence and support to succeed. If you'd like to start your own business, but are just not sure where to start then this course could be for you. Whether you have a business idea or just like the idea of starting your own business, this course will give you all the information you need to help you decide whether this is the right move for you. From the skills needed to run a business to the research required to get started, you'll be supported through a business start up check list to ensure you enter the world of business with your eyes wide open and prepared to take the next step. At the end of the course participants will be able to: Describe the advantages and disadvantages of running their own business, Explain the steps needed to start their own business, Complete a check list to help determine if they are ready to start their own business, Give examples of where they might find further information for each of the key business planning areas, The course is for people who are interested in starting their own business but are not sure how to go about it or those who have started their own business who would like some further marketing guidance.
