Woodwork - Basic Skills

Students will learn a range of woodworking techniques using hand tools including making simple joints and applying finishes. The class will cover identifying several different types of wood, how to handle and treat them and the best use for each type. You will complete samples of various techniques working at a level and pace you are comfortable with. Beginners or those with some experience of woodwork.
