Silversmithing - Summer School

UPDATED 20150720 09:46:51

Learn how to make handcrafted items in silver. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to shape the silver, solder, planish with a hammer, pierce using a small saw and finally polish to mirror finish. Rings, bangles and other jewellery and silver items can be made. Returning students will be able to complete existing projects. Beginners and those with some experience welcome. It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
