Pottery - Throwing for Beginners

Have you always wanted to try the potters' wheel? This course gives you the chance to focus on throwing. You will learn to centre clay, make the basic forms of bowl and cylinder and finish and glaze your work. Numbers will be kept low to allow you to have a wheel to yourself. This course is for those new to pottery who are primarily interested in learning to throw.

Entry requirements

Please wear old clothes and shoes. All pots are paid for by fired weight at a reasonable rate. Health and safety issues will be discussed and you will be instructed in the application of safe working practices.
