The course is for students who have achieved an Entry level 1 in English and wish to further improve their language through ICT Functional Skills course using ICT. Functional skills in information and communication technology (ICT) are essentially concerned with developing and recognising the ability of learners to apply and transfer skills in ways that are appropriate to their situation.This qualification will assess ICT skills demonstrating ability to: access and reply to an electronic message and label an image. For learners with good basic speaking, listening, reading and writing in English who wish to use a computer for everyday use.
