The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to carry out hair removal using waxing techniques. The skills developed will be; communications skills, organisation skills, the ability to work unsupervised, safely and effectively, how to remove hair from the body and face (areas between eyebrows, lip/chin, bikini, underarm and legs) the ability to plan and promote services and advise on after care. The knowledge acquired will enable them to understand the hair growth cycle and patterns, the theory behind the products, equipment and techniques required to perform waxing treatments and health and safety. Please note that students need to be aware that they will have to participate in the treatments whilst practising.
