BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Building Services Engineering

This course is designed for school leavers who wish to enter the construction industry as technical apprentices or progress directly to university to study a range of degrees such as Project Management, Surveying, Architecture or Building Services Engineering. You will study how to design a variety of building services such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems and plumbing. You will work either individually on assignments and as a group on a project which brings all the aspects of building services together. There will be field trips to visit current buildings in order to widen your knowledge of building services systems. The main benefit of this programme is the wide range of careers available to you within the construction industry.
