This programme is for students over 16 wishing to pursue a career in Uniformed Public Services professions and embraces the core values of Discipline, Teamwork and Fitness. The course provides a balance between practical and theoretical aspects of Public Services work. There are 7 units of study to be followed and these are selected from the following: - Public Service Skills - Career Planning for the Public Services - Improving Health and Fitness for Entry to the Uniformed Public Services - Employment in the Uniformed Public Services - Citizenship, the Individual and Society - Adventurous Activities and Teamwork - Crime and its Effects on Society - Attending Emergency Incidents in Public Services - Security Procedures in the Services - There is an opportunity to work towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award
