If you are looking for a course that is project based and will introduce you to the world of graphic design, illustration, typography, computer graphics and image-making, then this course could be for you. Throughout the course, you will be extending your creative skills as well as identifying your own strengths and individual career direction for the future. This is a Study Programme course which, if successful, leads to the 90 credit qualification over one year and progression to the full 180 credit qualification over 2 years. The course could help you progress on to a Higher Education course in a related area such as Graphic Design, Illustration or Multimedia. Alternatively, you may wish to apply for employment in a design related field such as graphic design studios, printing firms, publishing houses and advertising agencies. The course includes trips and visits to exhibitions, galleries and artists talks. There will also be opportunities for ‘live’ projects, and a chance to exhibit work in a college exhibition.
