The specification requires students to develop confidence (and competence) in the four language skills of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. A certain familiarity with the culture and ‘way of life’ of the target-language country is assumed and will be developed via exposure to spoken and written language. The course will help you develop your general study skills, but most of all students will learn to communicate at a higher level in Spanish.
