There is a wide and varied range of units available within the IT User Skills Framework including the options to use bespoke/specialist software. The Apprenticeship allows the learner/employer to create a custom made IT qualification by building up units credits to a minimum of 39 credits. The main software packages are based on the Microsoft Office Suite: Word Processing Spreadsheets Databases PowerPoint Email and internet/intranets The Apprenticeship is a programme of vocational education and training whereby you will learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all as the same time. The Apprenticeship is made up of the IT User Skills NVQ at Level 3, Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT and an Employee Rights and Responsibilities award.
