A digital photography course for those with no experience of using a digital camera, as well as those already familiar with the medium. This course will show you how to capture, store, manipulate and output images. Specific technical areas covered will include: How to use your digital camera, Importing images into the computer composition, Working in colour and black and white, Working with portrait, landscape and still life subjects, Scanning negatives and slides, Storage devices and file formats, Photo manipulation, Retouching, Photo montage and Printing digital images. You are advised not to buy a camera especially for the course. The school has some digital cameras for students who do not yet have one. If you do own one, then please bring it with you.
