This course is ideal for anybody wishing to apply for junior positions or placements within the Fashion and Textiles Industry or to progress to Higher Education to study at Degree or HND level.You will cover all aspects of the Fashion and Textiles discipline, learning how to research and develop design ideas, cut commercial patterns and make your individual designs using industrial machines.You will also learn about fabrics & how to develop surface textile designs and other techniques associated with textile design. You will learn how to draw a well-proportioned fashion figure and to illustrate your design ideas as well as producing technical drawings of your designs using CAD.
