Tai Chi – All Ability Suitable for Anyone interested in learning about Tai Chi. About the course The course aims to introduce learners to the gentle art of Tai Chi. To promote an increased sense of wellbeing, both physically and mentally. To aid relaxation, improve balance and posture, strengthen muscles and relieve stress. The first session Learners will need to complete a confidential Initial Health Assessment questionnaire. They should wear loose clothing and comfortable flat shoes. After the course Students may feel inspired to try other forms of physical activity. Additional information Some background of Tai Chi will be given and some basic standing movements included. Learners are discouraged from eating a large meal before the class begins. If you have been referred by a health professional you are encouraged to explore the full range of options and opportunities open to you. Your tutor may be able to give you advice on other activities and pursuits which may be beneficial to your general wellbeing and lifestyle.
