Do you want to take the first steps into assessing/teaching? If you have a full Level 3 in your chosen vocational area and are over 19 years old, then the Assessors qualifications are the courses for you. The series of qualifications starts with this knowledge unit. As this course requires a good level of English, you will undertake an assessment during the first class to confirm your place. You will complete assignments, gaining an understanding of the principles and practices of assessment without any requirement to practice as assessors. All assignments must be word processed. Once this is completed you can progress onto the Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3 Certificate. These qualifications are also suitable for qualified teachers who require a qualification to be able to assess in their vocational area, and would be helpful for teachers in schools who deliver vocational qualifications with applied learning.
