Do you want to increase your knowledge of mental health and a wide range of commonly diagnosed mental health conditions, how they can affect people's day to day lives and how they can be successfully managed? If so, this is the course for you and it can also help improve your employment prospects. You cover signs, triggers and symptoms, how mental health can affect an individual's ability to cope and function as well as looking at guidance on how to potentially manage and support people with their illness on a daytoday basis. You must be 18 or over to enrol. As this course requires a good level of English, you will undertake an assessment during the first class to confirm your place.
