Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings Level 2 Certificate

Do you work in Health and Social Care, and want to learn more about the prevention and control of infection? If so, this is the course for you and it can also help improve your employment prospects. You must be 18 or over to enrol. The topics you cover include the principles of infection prevention and control, the causes and spread of infection and the importance of correct cleaning procedures, decontamination and waste management. The skills you will learn are transferable to a wide range of settings. You need to have a good level of English and will undertake an assessment to confirm your place.
