This course aims to build on the introductory course, Understanding Yourself and Others, by providing a more indepth approach to key topic areas. It is ideal for anyone who wants to explore their specific interest in one or more of the areas under discussion or simply build their knowledge of Psychology. Attendance on the introductory course is helpful but not essential as recaps and additional study material will be provided. The Stress sessions divide the experience of stress in to its biological and cognitive components and provide suggestions for how to deal with both. The Change sessions consider factors which influence change from the individual/microlevel to the organisational/macrolevel and make suggestions for managing change as effectively as possible.
