This course encourages you to explore and develop art and design ideas in both 2D and 3D. The work you produce will be shaped by your own research. You will work with a range of media and techniques within the following areas: • Painting and Drawing • Graphic Design • Fashion Design and Textiles • 3D Design and Design Crafts • Photography • Visual Arts Employment: This course can form the foundations for a range of creative occupations including Graphic Designer, Concept Artist, Fashion Designer, Pattern Cutter, Gallery/Museum Curator, Illustrator, Art and Design Teacher, Interior Designer, Textile Designer, photgrapher and other related roles. Education: There are a range of other courses onto which you can progress and specialise in your creative interests. We offer Level 3 Diplomas and Extended Diplomas in Art and Design, Fashion, Graphics and Photography. At Barnsley College, we do everything we can to make your life here happy and rewarding.
