As well developing your self-confidence and communication skills, this course will cover a broad range of topics including: human physiology, nutrition, social development, behavioural sciences, biochemistry, environmental health, applied science and the importance of health promotion. You will study in brand new state-of-the-art laboratories with expert tutors who are always on hand to encourage and support you along the way. You will receive important time in the classroom learning theory-based modules, but you will also have many opportunities to gain hands-on experience off campus. Part of the course offers you the opportunity to take part in a two-week medical work experience trip to India, where you'll learn about different cultures and medicines. An approved work placement is an important part of the course. you will spend one day a week gaining on the job experience.
