This course is the first step that you will take to work in the childcare or health and social care sector and will provide a sound basis for you to progress onto further study within this area. You will be studying a National Skills Academy award in Social Care winning course, which demonstrates the excellent training that will be provided to you to help you progress. Taking you through the basics in order to understand the range of services and roles in health and social care and childcare, this course will help you to understand the principles and values in the sector. You will also be taught the essentials in order to work in the health care sector including; awareness of protection and safeguarding, awareness of equality and inclusion, awareness of health and safety and awareness of person-centred support. You will also have an introduction to communication as well as receiving support with your personal and social development.
