Multimedia (Multimedia Design) Foundation Degree Level 5

The course is specifically targeted towards designing for online multimedia and understanding design concepts. Emphasis is placed on creative origination, problem solving and consideration of commercial products and processes. The course is delivered through studio based teaching and learning with access to a wide range of digital production facilities. The first semesters lay the groundwork for the innovative exploration of ideas. Following semesters offer you the chance to gain professional experience through involvement with client briefs and professional work. The course will culminate in the proposition and execution of your own design brief which will be displayed in an end of year show. Modules include: graphic design and illustration animation and games design web design and delivery interactive multimedia applications visual culture sound and moving image professional practice critical review studio practice final major project proposal and research final major project resolution
