You will learn and complete a number of units covering a range of practices including: - Health and safety in the workplace - Monitoring/managing the distribution of supplies - Placing, monitoring/managing orders with suppliers - Developing relationships - Processing customs, transport and financial documentation for goods - Selecting suppliers and administering contracts - Legal and regulatory requirements - Applying improvements/efficiencies to supply chains - Meeting customer requirements through logistics operations - Managing budgets, contracts and business processes - Building an understanding of customers and customer behaviours/needs At level 3, apprentices will be expected to complete additional units within these areas. You will also need to complete units in health and safety, customer services, building effective working relationships, preparing vehicles for driving and distribution, picking, wrapping and packing goods, arranging collection and deliveries, organising storage and monitoring vehicle movements.
