Training at the first purpose-built Civil Engineering Academy in the country, you will be well placed to progress your studies at a campus that allows for specialist training in construction, engineering, highways and road maintenance. This course has a practical approach, offering a range of units to get you fully ready for working in bricklaying. Studying units such as; Knowledge of information about quantities. Carrying out basic blocklaying and bricklaying. Carrying out basic cavity walling. Contributing to setting out and building basic masonry structures up to damp course level. Coupled with theory including; carrying out safe working practices in construction, communicating with others, knowledge of building methods and construction technology, this course will stand you in good stead to progress in the bricklaying trade.
