This course provides a basic introduction to the use of a computer. It is ideal for anyone who wishes to progress to ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) but firstly feels a need to develop their basic skills. Some of the course content is delivered on screen but this will be reinforced by tutor led sessions. The course will cover: • Basic computer use and terminology (correct terms for describing and using a computer) • How to save and retrieve your work (including organisation of your files) • An introduction to using your computer on-line (finding information and communicating via e-mail) • Basic use of a digital camera and other personal media devices
