Course Content: The units will develop learners' knowledge, understanding and skills needed for bringing up a baby, and young children. The units cover areas such as antenatal development and birth and caring for a baby, developing communication, relationships and play with children, maintaining a healthy lifestyle for parenting and healthy eating for children, and keeping children safe. If they wish, learners also have the opportunity to take units covering areas such as searching for and applying for a job.
