This course is part of a range of courses which have been designed to ensure life and work skills can be developed through imaginative practical activities. Adults with learning difficulties wanting to access work and/or lead a more inclusive life in their local community. You will have the chance to develop the skills you need to reach your long term goal, which may be living a more independent life, accessing your local community, or entering the world of work. Depending on your goals, you will have advice on which options to choose from: art, drama, pottery, gardening, shopwork, life skills (shop, cook and eat) and enterprise activities. In all these options you will be developing the basic English and Maths you might need to improve. You will have a personal tutor who will guide you through the course, setting you targets and giving you feedback on how you are doing.
