Who is the course for? Psychology is the fascinating scientific study of behaviour. You will study how people interact, how we change and develop, how we think, how the nervous system works, how we differ from animals. You will develop your ability to think critically and analytically, further develop both your oral and communication skills and your ability to plan statistically viable experiments. What can it lead to? This course provides a suitable qualification for progression to A Level Psychology. It can also help gain entry to employment in the social or related sectors. What will I study? Five approaches which look at topic areas such as cognitive, social, learning, psychodynamic and biological. This course can lead to A Level Psychology in year two. Study for A Level includes topics such as Clinical, Criminological and Child Psychology.
