This course provides a starting point for you to build a career in the performing arts industry as a member of a production team. The Subsidiary Diploma is delivered in year 1, on successful completion of which students can continue on to the extended diploma. The extended diploma is equivalent to three A-levels. The course is suitable for students with a keen interest in the technology and processes that underlie modern concert production and performing arts events. Students should have a willingness to learn new skills as well as a determination to develop specialist areas of interest. You will need to be able to work as a member of a team and o follow a brief set by the designer. You may also have to work on productions outside of your normal college day
