To provide the learner with a broad knowledge, understanding and the skills and training to become qualified within site carpentry. This qualification is aimed at those individuals wishing to join the construction industry as carpenters or joiners. In addition to the theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the carpentry and joinery workshop. After successfully completion, the progression to a Level 2 qualification in site carpentry. All tools and equipment will be available during the course to allow learners to complete successfully
