Students working at Entry 1 will study a range of units to enhance their personal progress and independence. You will engage in activities to develop independent living skills and personal progress. You will work with lecturers to set individual targets and to work on your own development for both academic and personal progress. Focus will be put on skills required for independence, delivered through a range of units and mediums. Students will work on personal skills such as communication, behaviour, confidence, keeping safe and engaging with others. Embedded functional skills including literacy, numeracy and ICT will be included within sessions and taught in an inclusive practical way.
