AAT Accounting qualification is an internationally recognised professional accounting qualification based on practical, real-life knowledge that can be put to use from day one. What are the course outcomes? Course objectives: Level 2 covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques, from bookkeeping, costing to using accounting software. You will also develop communication and IT skills needed to work in Accounting and Finance. It is ideal if you’re new to working in finance or you’re looking to expand and develop your foundation knowledge and skills needed to progress either to employment or to further study. Who the course is aimed at: The AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting is an ideal starting point for anyone wishing to pursue a career in accountancy or finance. This qualification is suitable for young people who have just left school as well as for adults returning to work after a break or for anyone wishing to change career. The Foundation Certificate is open to those who are working and those who are not currently in employment. However, for the best chance for success, we recommend that students begin their studies with a good standard of English and maths.
