This course is ideal if you are new to the Lifelong Learning Sector or have some experience of Teaching/Training but are not yet qualified. You will gain an understanding of basic practical teaching skills and theory. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification consists of five sections: * Understanding your own role, responsibilities and boundaries in relation to teaching * Understanding teaching and learning approaches in your specialist area * Demonstrate session planning skills * Understanding how to deliver inclusive sessions which motivate learners * Understanding the use of different assessment methods and the need for record keeping This course can lead to the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training Course fee: TBC Credits: 12 An interview and assessment will be required before starting Teacher Training courses, please contact felicity.becker@reading.gov.uk for more information.
