FLORISTRY - INTRODUCTION (Evening)

The aim of this course is to help you gain an understanding of the industry and to learn some basic techniques and designs. You will look at the principles and elements of design and the power of colour. After completing this course you should be able to list and explain the principles and elements of design; and demonstrate basic techniques for building an arrangement, a wired piece and hand tied designs. As you will be using seasonal flowers and foliage the course content will vary slightly between the Autumn and Summer term courses.
