Higher National Diploma in Fine Art

UPDATED 20150702 13:32:49

The HND in Fine Art provides the opportunity for those students who have completed a HNC to progress to a higher level course and continue their studies at the college. The ethos of the course is to focus upon an individual's conceptual and creativity identity and to develop them within the context of the course units relative to their particular artistic concerns and interests. Focus for the course comes through negotiating a creative and developmental response through regular tutorials and studio practice. I held it imperative to evolve an instrument of thought which would aid in cutting through all cultural opiates, past and present, so that a direct, immediate, and truly free vision could be achieved, and an idea be revealed with clarity. Clyfford Still.
