This introductory painting & drawing evening course is suitable for beginners as well as students returning to study. The course gives instruction in developing fine art skills from basic mark making using a variety of materials and mediums starting with pencil and charcoal, through to oil painting in the final term. It gives students an opportunity to build a portfolio of work and experience to assist progression to higher levels of study in art and design. Students will need to supply their own materials over the period of the course; this will be discussed on the first day of the course.
