The Foundation Degree in Early Years Leadership and Management at Kensington and Chelsea College is run in collaboration with Kingston University over two years (Level 4 and Level 5). All students attend college for a day between 3 pm and 9.30 pm on a Wednesday. To apply for the course you must meet the following criteria: You must hold a full Level 3 qualification/Diploma in Child Care and Education or Early Years or NNEB or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. You must be employed in an Early Years setting for a minimum of 16 hours a week. Course work and assignments will require you to be working at a supervisory level where you require effective communication and organisational management to lead and work with fellow colleagues. You also need a minimum of 2 years experience in employment since achieving your Level 3 qualification.
