Level 3 Apprenticeship in Management

This course offers a broad curriculum designed to gain and develop the necessary skills in Management. This qualification develops the skills and knowledge needed to successfully run and maintain an organisation's premises, including property management, energy conservation, security and cleaning. It is ideal for anyone undertaking a Facilities Management Apprenticeship or working in, or hoping to progress to, a supervisory or first-line management role. It also forms part of the apprenticeship scheme for Facilities Management along with the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management, which forms part of the knowledge component. You can choose the qualification that demonstrates the specialist knowledge and skills you have developed such as: •Procurement •Budgeting •Maintaining property and assets •Energy management •Disaster recovery and contingency planning. You will learn on the job in the work environment. Assessment will also take place in the workplace and will include a portfolio of evidence to meet the criteria of the qualification. Level 3 is ideal if you are working in a supervisory role and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard.
