The course aims to develop understanding of a wide range of photographic approaches. Digital photo development and manipulation, as well as a traditional but experimental darkroom techniques for black and white printing. We encourage independent and personal research and help students develop their own ideas based around different themes. During your AS course, you will begin by focusing on documentary work. You will learn to work with controlled lighting, as well as carrying out some experimental work. You will complete one coursework project based on playing with visual elements.
