Performing Arts BTEC Subsidiary Diploma/Extended Certificate

This is a practical, work related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area students have chosen, they also develop the skills they need to start a career. The course is made up of units which may include Principles of Acting, Performance Workshop, The Performing Arts Business and Performing to an Audience, Devising Classical Theatre to Approaches in Directing and Theatre in Education. It is equivalent to one A level leading to employment or higher education.
