It is a two year course that involves both theory and practice. You will be required to attend 200 hours of work placement in a variety of settings. You will also be required to attend college for theory sessions, where you will cover 18 units such as: Effective Communication; Equality, Diversity and Rights; Health, Safety and Security; Development Through The Life Stages; Anatomy and Physiology; Personal and Professional Development; Sociological Perspectives; Psychological Perspectives.
