The Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator) has been developed to meet the needs of Early Years Educators working with children 0-5 years old and fully meets the requirements of the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) and the requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You must hold GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C to enrol on this programme. This is a 'roll-on, roll-off' programme of study. This means that there are three start dates throughout the year September, January, and April. You will start the programme at the start of a new term rather than wait for a new course to begin. You will need to make an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser before enrolling on this course. Please email sacc@southend-adult.ac.uk or call 01702 445700 to arrange this.
