The Level 1 Diploma delivered on the Vantage Point campus introduces the fundamental principles of Electrical Installation. Delivered 50% in the workshop and 50% in the classroom this allows theory applications to be put into practice in a controlled environment. This can course can be completed 1 day or 2 evenings per week.You will be covering fundamental aspects such as Health & Safety Working within Construction Electrical Science and Installation Techniques with assessments carried out as you progress.There are no specific entry requirements however an aptitude test will be given within the first 6 weeks of the course to assess individual learning needs.You will be required to provide your own safety boots and overalls/work trousers for practical sessions. For the theory sessions a scientific calculator and usual note taking stationery is essential.Successful completion of this course will enable entry onto the Electrical Installation Level 2 Diploma.
