This Level 2 Diploma delivered on the Vantage Point campus allows candidates to learn develop and practise the skills required for preparation into employment within the plumbing industry.Some of the units studied include: Installing pipework systems Materials and components Copper fabrications Hot and cold water systems Central heating systems Plastic pipework installation Guttering and rainwater systems The installation of sanitary ware including taps float operated valves and siphons.Practical skills and theory knowledge are assessed using a combination of both practical tasks and online assessments. As well as a genuine interest in Plumbing candidates will be required to have completed the Level 1 Diploma. You will need to provide your own protective clothing footwear textbooks and stationery.Upon successful completion you can progress on to the Level 3 Plumbing or Gas Diplomas.
