Animal Care Level 1

This course will provide you with a basic introduction to working with animals. The practical approach of the course will allow you to develop animal handling skills alongside personal and social development, and you will have access to a range of animals to enable you to develop your skills and confidence. You will carry out practical work each week, including time spent at the animal unit, the farm and the equine centre.
