Applied Science AS Level

The AS course is made up of three units and these cover ideas such as analytical chemistry involving titration, chromatography and colorimetry, methods of monitoring the human body such as X rays and CAT scans and an in depth study of a local organisation that uses science on a daily basis. There is also some more traditional content, including the study of the human circulation system, energy transfers and basic organic chemistry.
