This is a Level 3 bridging course in preparation for the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Numeracy. Throughout the course, there will be emphasis on the development of both personal and teaching skills in Mathematics (Numeracy). Current approaches in Mathematics teaching will be explored withprominence given to collaborative and interactive learning and applying skills in the classroom. Personal skills will be mapped to Level 3 standards.
