The Extended Diplomais perfect for you if you already have a Subsidiary Diploma in Health and Social Care and want to extend on this. In conjunction with the Subsidiary Diploma, the Extended Diploma is equivalent to three Alevels. The course combines theoretical study in College and vocational practice in a variety of settings, including hospitals. You will be required to complete work placements in various settings. Placements can be anywhere in the Bradford district and you will have to be prepared to travel to experience a range of healthcare settings. BTEC Level 3 qualifications are a recognised route into university and many of our learners progress onto Higher Education courses such as Nursing, Social Work, Radiography and Counselling. This is the course to apply for if you want to progress to study midwifery at university
